I've been playing mlbb for years maybe from around 2016 or 17 and mlbb has been a ride from top to bottom it's been fun and rage filling to say the least but it's fun all the same and the prospect of experiencing new features and adjustments ahead and make contributions to change the game is amazing to me

What caused the decline of the RTS genre?
The RTS genre was very popular back in the day with games like C&C, Red Alert, Dune, Warcraft, Steel soldiers and many more. But over time these games fizzled out alongside the genre. I think the last big RTS game franchises were Starcraft and Halo Wars, but those seem to be done and gone now. There are some fun alternatives, but all very niche and obscure. I've heard people say the genre died out with the rise of the console, but I believe PC gaming is once again very popular these days. Yet RTS games are not. Is it a genre that younger generations don't like? Is it because it's hard to make money with the genre? Or something else completely? What do you think?
