COMBO UPDATE: Level 50 mage, all skills at L12, with Vortex at L13
I wanted to share my favorite OP combo. Load up:
1. Frost Nova
2. Blizzard
3. Vortex
4. Frost Blast (1 finger slot)
5. Arcane Missiles (2 finger slot)
With groups of mobs larger than 5 or 6, IN THIS ORDER, cast Vortex to clump all the mobs into a tight group. Then cast Frost Nova to freeze them. Then cast Blizzard which will do 500% of your weapon damage, and immediately use Frost Blast which does TRIPLE damage to frozen mobs. my mage's Frost Blast is doing 300k+. For smaller groups of mobs, leave out the Vortex, and do the combo in the order as above. If you do it right, you may as well be invulnerable :) It might take a few tries to get your timing right, but it's worth it. This combo is the most OP I've found yet. I'm *guessing*, this isn't confirmed, that a similar fire combo might be just as good. Give it a shot, let me know how it works for you. That's everything for now. Start a new game?
