I came into this game expecting garbage due to what everyone has told me about it. The story follows Ellie tracking down Abby, (who you play as for half of the game for god knows what reason) to avenge Joel. (Abby killed him.) The story is the main thing dragging this game down. Abby’s arc is extremely slow and stretched out. Ellie’s is fine. Nothing much to say about it. The main complaint I see with this game is the death of Joel / how he died. While I do agree with the way he died was extremely off compared to his tough character design, he had to die in some way or another.
