this game is amazing, its perfect at what it wants to achieve, and nothing is like it on the play store or tap tap at the moment, one thing to expect when playing if you got a budget phone play on low graphics lowest possible because it does lag over time in the late game if there is too much stuff and people around. That's the only downside to late game players. seeing a update that can somewhat fix it would be nice to see.
The Bonfire 2: Uncharted Shores Survival Adventure (B2) tasks you to grow and expand a settlement that can defend itself from the myriad of threats.
✔️ Sequel to The Bonfire: Forsaken Lands
✔️ Simple Mission: Build your settlement from scratch and defend it at all costs
✔️ Strategic survival game
✔️ Close reminder to Curious Expedition
✔️ Progression system
✔️ Day: Building yMode (Interactive)
✔️ Night: Defence Mode (No input)
❌ Lack of clear instructions
❌ Maps don’t come in varying conditions
❌ You’re at the mercy of characters approaching your bonfire at their will
❌ Takes ages for a villager to level up
❌ Villagers will not respawn after they die
❌ Intrusive ads
✔️ 2D art style from the 1600s with dark vibes
✔️ Minimalistic UI interface looks pleasant
❌ Strange character animations
❌ Clunky UI interface needs some tweaking
✔️ Decent soundscape
❌ Nothing spectacular
Though the game may seem like a typical RTS game, B2 has much more to offer, especially when it comes to variations of gameplays. For what it's worth, your tolerance for the intrusive ads and some lingering issues determines whether you'd enjoy the gameplay loop in RTS. After all, the progression system is the main appeal.
Still, if you're in it for the love of survival games, there're tons to be admired here. What's more, the ingenuity of the game mechanics are more than sufficient to make up for its initial slow pace.
