MoreHardcore Action RPG offline gamePowerlust is a hardcore action RPG offline game. Based on old PC RPG games. Made by a guy who loved playing them. Roguelike mechanics.Procedurally generated dungeons. Optional permadeath. Skill-based combat. Completely free, no p2wMicro transactions are just donations with cool cosmetic rewards like camera perspectives (top down, TPP, FPP), camera filters, character customization and bloodbath mode. There are also some qol features like faster unlocks and a shared item stash. Made by one guyHobby project made by one guy (me). I spent quite a few years on it already. No huge corporations involved, unless we count the games like diablo, that inspired it :) No rigid classesYou can create your own class, nothing is locked, play as a fire mage wielding a two handed sword or a necro archer. You can also use it to report bugs, suggest improvements and see the latest updates. Tons of masteries, skills and buildsThere is a vast number of options to choose from when it comes to spells, weapons, abilities and masteries. 👍 Pros: I like the combat and though the diverse ways to build your character in this type of game is common but it’s implemented well. A lot of spells/abilities with different classes which could show some potential in the future.Grinding for loot isn’t hard, you can get decked with good weapons and armour easily
Barely any ads, it isn’t always in your face consistently it’s mostly just for daily additional rewards if you’re not a donator. IMPORTANT YOU CAN connect your Xbox controller and it plays really well makes combat easier, tho idk if it works on ps4 controllers. 👎 Cons: The main storyline isn’t finished as well as inaccessible parts of the map and there isn’t much content yet. Some of the caves is kinda janky and I could just cheese some of the enemies. Basically the whole game isn’t finished so this review isn’t really valid lol.

Powerlust has many downsides if you judge it from a comprehensive perspective, Even though I still give it 5 stars. And I’m sure you know I’m not the only one who shows partiality to it, the game score is 9.7. I suppose the reason why we give a high score is that we all expect a game truly like Diablo 2 even the Diablo 2 is already been released almost 20 years. And In many ways, Powerlust is a decent game and it is worth playing.
