European War 7 is a strategy game with plenty of politics, battles, and well... strategizing. There are plenty of episodes, starting off with the fall of the Western Roman Empire. It touches on several huge historical events, such as the Viking invasions, the Crusades, and more.
The gameplay is a bit like Total War, but in episodes, as players build their own empire, raise armies, form alliances, and attack their enemies. Raising armies take resources, so players must know where to harvest these resources, such as iron.
