This is visually the best looking Tactical RPG but also one of the most p2w Asian games you will ever come across. The graphics & music quality of the game are top notch, with the opening theme (login screen) being amazing. The skill CGs are also stunning. But that's all there is to it. I promise you this game is NOT recommended for the free players. The game is engineered in a way that almost everything in it are meant to crush you. But that's just the typical ZlongGames we know of, a super greedy Chinese company. Archeland is even much worse than Goddess of Genesis and Kalpa of Universe combined in terms of f2p / p2w aspects. The free gacha tickets you will acquire throughout the gameplay is much less compared to their previous 2 games and even more grindy this time with more PvE difficulty involved. I can brag about the unfairness present within the game all day long here but I don't think anyone has the time to read such a long essay, so you will have to figure most of it by playing. The gacha drop rates, however...I'm without words here, it's just terrible beyond imagination (possibly the worst you will find in any modern RPG) The drop rate (2%) to get SSR heroes is a big LIE. Even Onmyoji's drop rate (1.2%) to acquire SSR heroes is far better than this garbage. There is the pity system, but it's useless as it guarantees a random SSR after 90 pulls. The chances of acquiring a drop rate up banner SSR hero is only 60% higher than the other SSRs whereas getting the banner hero was 80% higher in both Goddess of Genesis and Kalpa of Universe, so yes, this game is a huge downgraded version to the previous ones and there is no end to unfairness present within the game. Pulls after pulls, you will only get SR and R grade heroes unless you spend a ton and have lots of gacha tickets in possession (100+ at very least) Lke seriously, how is it so hard to acquire a banner rate up hero in this game?? I have never any gacha RPG doing this level of injustice to its user base. The in-game events are hopeless and lame, devs just want to torture your brain. In conclusion, this isn't a f2p friendly RPG any free user should waste their time on. As a Chinese myself, I am deeply ashamed to admit that my people can often be very greedy with robbing foreigners of their money.
