Volzerk(Monster Universe in JP) is a really great monster catching RPG. It's one of the rare phone games that have NO gacha elements and NO annoying stamina/energy bar that prevents you from playing the game. Volzerk is currently available in Japanese and in English and can be played on your phone AND on your computer(via steam). Your save data is shared between both systems. Like I mentioned earlier, there is no gacha system in this game. Instead, you have to buy characters with real money. WAIT!! Please keep reading. Every 4★ character and the majority of the 3★ characters can only be bought with real money, BUT!! You are given a FREE 4★ character not long after you start playing the game(you need to clear a few stages first) and you can also buy, with in-game currency, some 3★ characters and every 2★ characters. You'll also obtain, for free, a bunch of 1★ characters when you advance through the story.

Cute game. Amazing graphics gameplay is ok wish it had 3d view tho The only fault this game has is it needs more things to do. Just gets kinda boring need better dungeons. More Dungeons. Different way to make coins to. Very hard to upgrade hearts and things with very little coins.

Somewhat similar to a typical Digimon game with an open world.

So far it seems like a pretty good single player monster collecting action combat style, gameplay and sfx are great. Gfx could be a touch better when maxed but the skills and animations are cool. You'll need to be able to read Japanese to play because eventhough you can choose USA at the start, the storyline and character voices are Japanese.

I enjoyed playing the game so far. I really like monster taming and similar genre games and Volzerk is one of the enjoyable ones out there with great colorful graphics, funny conversations. and breeding gameplay. 📖 Storyline: is quite charming it's goving me digimon vibes, but sometimes it's kinda boring waiting the talk to be done (actually you can skip it). overall 7/10 it's quite predictable 🎮 Gameplay: feels like monster hunter especially the gameplay, the graphics kinda remind me to dragon quest, and its kinda zelda-like game. overall 7.5/10 it's still confused me sometime 👎 Cons: i'm currently playing and using samsung A54(exynos 1380, mali g-68 gpu) i think this game not yet support exynos, tru to play in high setting and got camera delay

This game is one of the best rpg open world games i played in mobile so far, cuz you can finish the story with cheap characters, no need to pay, just grind and you can finish the game, my complains is sometimes its laggy, and the controls is new for me, but its amazing, its easy and hard at the same time, and please add some upgrades and side tasks, cuz the loop is kinda boring, but i enjoy it cuz i love grinding, im a fan of MHS and pokemon so loop grinds is part of it. Pvp and boss battles with friends will be a good addition for the game, and also more side quests and after story quests, like i mention pvp, thats all, overall the game is excellent, thank you for the free game.
