MoreInspired by the SCP Foundation's SCP-027 ("The Vermin God"), Vermin God is an insect horror multi-path visual novel where your choices matter. In this game, you make choices based on the information and various story elements that you gather and the outcomes of your previous choices. Every choice truly matters as the narrative is carefully crafted to produce an immersive interactive horror experience in the visual novel medium that hasn't been done before. You play the story of Sye Mejia; an 18-year-old girl infected by an unknown disease dubbed Anomaly 270 or the Vermin God Disease. Not much is still known regarding this mysterious disease besides the fact that it enigmatically attracts animals that can be labeled as "vermin" into the victim's body and surrounding vicinity. Rats, roaches, worms, and various other insects of sort gather around the victim, producing what can only be seen as a living human infestation. Sye's story begins as she wakes up in a mysterious science facility hidden underground in some forest without any memory or recollection of why she got there. As she explores and navigates this facility, she experiences the strange symptoms of her disease, alongside the weird anomalies of the facility she woke up in. While you slowly uncover the strange secrets of this unknown facility, you encounter various begins of anomalous nature. What could be waiting for you once you make your way out? Wow.
The game is in development but wow, it's amazing. The art is great, as are the dialogues, soundtrack and story (All this in one chapter of the 5 programmed that will have to come out).
The game is so immersive that it seems to be inside it. It's not a game it's a masterpiece.

Vermin God is an interesting game, to say the least. SPCs have always been weird and terrifying, but there's something different about them when you start to think that this could somehow also happen in real life. That's one of the reasons this game felt so creepy and disgusting to me, but I guess this is what it's meant to do.
One of the reasons I'm saying this is because, from the start, you're greeted on a surgical table, not knowing what happened to you, just to wake up and start vomiting maggots and worms
