Ultra Blade

It's a survival game where you have to defeat waves of enemies. It has a very good pixel art dark atmosphere. You get random upgrades after defeating some enemies possibly helping you defeating more enemies or survive longer. The gameplay loop is great and you can unlock other characters who have different weapons. The only issue with it are the controls; you drag your finger to move but the issue is that while you move you attack that limits your area of action in not a fun way. You can also tap for a heavy attack but you do this in the direction you are facing but remember you attack while you move so you may end up wifing the attack or get hit while doing the heavy were otherwise you wouldn't get hit. If you stay still you auto attack but again in the direction you are facing.

The movement feels a bit clunky, after a dash the "Blade" (Charackter) is not moving for a short duration if u try to walk after that. That stops the flow of the game. Overall very cool mechanics, chars and enemies. I like that it isnt as easy as the other horde survival games,. Keep up the good work!

Love and enjoying Ultra Blade so far but I have one 'issue' with this game... And that is Ingots drop less when you have 10 or above currently possessed. I noticed it early on that Ingots start to drop less when you have 10 or above and the only way you'll be able to get more ingots, is to break records or have less than 10. (I'm typing this review to spread my issue with this to see if i'm the only one who has this issue or I am just unlucky) Anyways, please fix this, Game Devs.

Today we are looking at a game that uses dark souls mechanics and Vampire survivors. Weirdly enough, this game works exceptionally well together! We are looking at a game called Ultra Blade. Summary: Hack n slash your way through endless hordes of mutating enemies. Unlock and upgrade 1000s of hero and class combinations, each with unique looks and abilities. Every new character expands the pool of in-game upgrades, making every run feel different.
