It's a survival game where you have to defeat waves of enemies. It has a very good pixel art dark atmosphere. You get random upgrades after defeating some enemies possibly helping you defeating more enemies or survive longer. The gameplay loop is great and you can unlock other characters who have different weapons.
The only issue with it are the controls; you drag your finger to move but the issue is that while you move you attack that limits your area of action in not a fun way. You can also tap for a heavy attack but you do this in the direction you are facing but remember you attack while you move so you may end up wifing the attack or get hit while doing the heavy were otherwise you wouldn't get hit. If you stay still you auto attack but again in the direction you are facing.
Is it just me or some characters like Leagus Mantro only swings 90 degrees to the sides?
And if you thought the controls are clunky and you didn't like it at first, just give it a chance. Try to learn how the controls really work and master it. You will like it for sure. It is fun once you learn how it really works.
Edit: Now I think it's a bug. Because the same side slashing thing happens with characters who are not side slashers when you got some upgrades that's not supposed to be side slashing.
