The Darkest Paths: Missing Files is a Single-player First-person Horror game in which you play as Isaac Writon, a private investigator, who one day receives an email from a whistleblower inside the DARWIN Corporation, informing you about the cruel experiments happening inside the facility, asking you to investigate it and show the world what is happening. Go into each of the 7 Testing Chambers created by DARWIN and try to solve the unique objectives provided to you, as well as surviving from whatever resides in these chambers.
Ai Enemy
The AI is different for each Chamber/Map, and is perfectly adapted to the unique environments and objectives of the different chambers, meaning every level will be different.
Escape the various Testing Chambers
As your progress through the game (and as updates come) you will discover and enter a variety of maps or Testing Chambers that offer a unique environment, unique objectives, and unique creations specifically manufactured for their designated environment, each being different to the one before.
Increasing Difficulty
As your progress in each map, various elements become harder to deal with, such as the objectives themselves, the being down there with you, or the Testing Chamber itself.
Replayability
Randomized Objective Locations, Hidden Lore Elements, and (planned to add in the future) different Difficulties to give you a brand new experience with old and new maps.
Lore
For all the Lore and Theory fanatics out there, this game does have a good amount of lore hidden inside it. I personally love the idea of "Show, not Tell" which this game will follow Story and Lore wise. However, because this is just 1 Game in a SERIES, you won't learn the full story from just this game (sorry), but you will still learn a lot regardless!Chapters/DLCThe game will be released in Chapters, with each new chapter bringing a new Chamber and Entity that you will have to face and escape from. These chapters will be released as DLC's (with a price tag) as the game is relatively cheap and thus making each new Entity (Model and AI) and Chamber from scratch being rather expensive. But DO NOT WORRY!!!! The DLC price tag will be the same as the game, if not cheaper, so that everyone can afford it!
