Ancient ruins, magical kingdoms, flying airships, divine creatures, lost civilizations, and godlike villains make every adventure feel huge in scale. Storytelling is where the franchise became legendary. Most games focus heavily on emotions, relationships, sacrifice, identity, and fate. Some moments hit surprisingly hard because the games spend so much time building attachment to the characters. Even people who never played the series still recognize characters like Cloud, Sephiroth, or Tidus because of how iconic they became. Combat constantly evolves depending on the game. Older titles used classic turn-based systems, while newer entries feel closer to action RPGs with fast real-time combat. Some fans prefer the strategic older style, while others love the cinematic modern gameplay. That constant reinvention keeps the franchise from feeling trapped in one formula. Visually, the series always pushes style and imagination. Whether it’s pixel-era classics or modern ultra-detailed worlds, Final Fantasy games usually feel artistic instead of generic fantasy copies. Summons alone — giant godlike creatures appearing during battles — became one of the franchise’s most unforgettable features. The music deserves special mention because it’s honestly one of the greatest soundtracks in gaming history. Emotional piano themes, orchestral boss music, and haunting melodies give many scenes legendary status. Of course, not every entry is perfect. Some stories become overly complicated, pacing can drag, and certain games divide fans heavily. But even weaker titles usually still contain memorable worlds, music, or characters. Overall, Final Fantasy feels less like one long series and more like multiple epic fantasy journeys connected by imagination, emotion, and atmosphere. Few franchises manage to feel this grand while still remaining deeply personal at the same time.

it's an old 3d game....classic but not so good. In today's generation we want something realistic. This doesn't have it.

It's not showing the full story but it's an enjoyable game to play and kill your time with, the characters and the graphics are highly rated here.

Always happy to revisit the world of FFVII. Just wish the new story is what unlocked the old and not the way it is since we just got the remake part 2 and re-release of Crisis Core. Other than that great time killer. Great fun and great new story beats to Sephroith and the world.
