A new world has dawned. You and your team of up to three other soldiers crash over a huge area of enemy mercenarys. You must survive and escape between infected creatures and enemy soldiers. Resources are rare in The Outbreak. Food, water, ammunition and guns are hard to find and any bullet can mean the difference between life and death. The enemies are not only the infected creatures, enemy soldiers and deadly animals that make survival hell for you, but above all, you fight against yourself. Hunger, thirst, energy and the constantly changing weather and temperature are some of your greatest fears in The Outbreak. Your goal is to look for important resources like food, shelter, weapons and ammunition in order to withstand the multitude of dangers and to find a way out of hell.

At the beginning of the game your helicopter crashes in a random area of the open world game. Your goal is to survive and escape. You have several options for survival. Find a flare and fire it at a high point to draw attention to you, or find an allied search party to ensure your survival. These are just some of the ways to master the game. The Outbreak has an enormously high replay value, since every new survival scenario has new crash sites and unpredictable difficulties.
