Challenges: Filling the game with microtransactions.
There's no innovation or anything of sort here, just your mediocre clone with the name Age of Empires. There are no Empires here, just Age or Pay. Truly a disgrace to AoE itself and to all the other actual RTS games available on mobile platforms (Total War series by Feral Interactive, for example).
To all the dissapointed fellow fans, just give this a 1 star, and if you've got a strong snapdragon chipset, use the emulators to play the classic PC titles.

Very good game with great graphics and I give it 5 stars for the effort, big fan of F2P and I've never spent money on games... but nowadays there are a lot of players who cry about P2P, which is not true... someone has to feed themselves and his family with his invention and work... keep it up

another rise of kingdom copy and other 999 games copy, i hate very much this garbage. this is not age of empire classic .. is just a trash pay to upgrade pay to fight pay to pay to open payed content and pay to everything . Its a tap to tap . nothing with AOE . NOT RECOMENDED FOR OLD AND VETERAN GAMERS.
Gameplay is completely different. Combat is dumbed down to an unbelievable level and everything focuses on hero characters that you buy or get for free randomly sometimes. You can’t direct individual troops, they all just group together and hack away at the enemy until whichever side has more people inevitably wins. Sometimes you can upset this with their rock/paper/scissors system of archers defeat swordsmen, swordsmen defeat pikemen, pikemen defeat cavalry, and cavalry defeat archers. That’s as complicated as things get though until you start getting weird fantasy upgrades that turn your swordsmen into spinning beyblade Tasmanian devil things or. It’s 100% a mobile game from the ground up with the AoE name and aesthetic kinda stuck on the front. If you’re expecting Call of Duty Mobile, Rollercoaster Tycoon Classic Mobile, or some similar port of a real game onto mobile, this is definitely not it. Why can’t we just make a real AoE 4, charge $50 for it, and make it run on phones in addition to PC? I’m sure there’s a market for this mobile-only-pay-for-3D-models-of-sexy-cleopatra version of games, but there are a lot of people who would also pay real money up front for a real game.
