Set in North Hollywood, Canada, the game’s a real nod to the golden-age of Hollywood Z-movie director Ed Wood and those early superhero flicks, eh! What really makes Croak Crusader stand out from the other grapple-based platformers, though, is the focus on combat and action, don’tcha know! Enemies burst into fountains of red pixels and body parts when you ram 'em through or chuck 'em against walls and floors with a good ol' "crac" or "paf!" It's a real hoot, buddy! A REAL BEAUT OF A STORY!In this prequel chapter, players take control of the mysterious doppelgänger, Toadman, on his quest for revenge against Captain Croak—the hero of the story, eh! Now, Toadman comes to life when a poor unsuspecting leech, stuck on Captain Croak, gets run over by a car and then mutated by the bizarre wildlife in Canada’s lush, exotic jungles. At this point in our story, those jungles have been infused with some strange alien tech, cooked up by the wicked Professor Creature! With a chip on his shoulder, Toadman vows to get even with Captain Croak and kick him out of the Canadian jungle he now calls home!MISC INFORMATIONCroak Crusader: Spawn of the Spore Spectre is a demo chapter for what is intended to be a much larger experience!
