Review of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown v1.1.1a: A Persian Metroidvania Revival with Cultural Charm and Mobile Flaws About the Game and Developer Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and published by Ubisoft Entertainment, is an action-adventure platformer in the Metroidvania genre, released in 2024 for consoles and PC, with the mobile version launched in 2025 for Android and iOS. The purchased version v1.1.1a (around $9.99) offers a complete, ad-free experience without in-app purchases. You play as Sargon, a young warrior from the Immortals, tasked with rescuing Prince Ghassan from the cursed Mount Qaf—a mythical Persian realm warped by time corruption. While the core game excels with fluid combat and exploration, the Android port is hindered by technical issues and design oversights that dim its brilliance.

Finished the game final boss disappoints me but parkour this game lot harder than bosses that's doesn't make any sense on the one parkour ( you know you know ) I sped 3 days to this day still it is kick my ass, combat's are easy to master and common enemy more dangerous than hardest boss but still have good boss fights king Darius you still in my heart so yeah 👍 stop reading and buy it

The latest gem from that failing studio called Ubisoft, in this case Ubisoft Montpellier. The port is well done, port carried out by Ubisoft da Nang, really well done and has nothing to envy to the console version, It's a well-made metroidvania with good mechanics and difficulties balanced at high levels and good touch controls, if necessary you can connect an external gamepad, worth the money It cost.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown (Android) – A Solid Metroidvania With a Modern Twist Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown makes a bold return to the franchise’s roots while reimagining its gameplay for a new era — and the Android version holds up surprisingly well. The game embraces the Metroidvania style, offering a large interconnected world full of secrets, puzzles, platforming challenges, and backtracking. Combat is fast and fluid, combining melee strikes, dodges, and special abilities. The

Best metroidvania game after blasphemous. From Story to combat to puzzles to game mechanics. Everything is so perfect.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown review
Pros Fluid combat Innovative time-based powers Labyrinthine level design Smooth performance Flexible difficulty options Cons Story takes a while to get interesting Hard to tell which collectibles actually matter Back in Time Jordan Mechner’s original Prince of Persia, released in 1989, was a “cinematic” platformer that leveraged rotoscope animation for extra realism and detail. So the series has always had cinematic aspirations, and that was before the Hollywood adaptation. Narratively, the Lost Crown takes place in its own universe, disconnected from other Prince of Persia games. However, it deftly sells you on its franchise vision.

Let's start out with THIS IS ACTUALLY A PAID GAME. Which in itself doesn't bother me. But your not going to see that on the download page, and I know some people would like to avoid data charges for something they won't buy. Its got a "demo" so you can play like the first 10 minutes of the game. Which i rather enjoyed. But thats all you get unless you buy the full game, $9.99 where i am. Will probably buy the full game eventually after I've played through some other stuff.
