With a meticulous and serious approach, it aims to unravel the intriguing stories depicted in "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" and verify them through archaeological perspectives. The main gameplay revolves around finding approximately 200 objects and characters. Each discovery is accompanied by annotations that delve into their functions and their specific placement within the painting. Many elements and customs showcased in the ancient artwork have faded into history, requiring us to rely on existing literature and expertise to speculate and deduce their significance. This naturally gives rise to discussions and unresolved mysteries. To encourage meaningful contributions, I have considered implementing a voting system for annotations, allowing valuable insights to be recognized, embraced, and appreciated by the community. In the future, there is a possibility of introducing a task-based system that involves engaging in dialogues with the characters within the painting, breathing life into the artwork itself. "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" predominantly portrays the boats, bridges, houses, bustling marketplaces, festive celebrations, and cultural customs of the Northern Song Dynasty. The level of detail is so intricate that it feels as if a camera had captured the authentic social landscape of that era. The painting meticulously illustrates boat structures, innovative detachable lifting rudders, the assembly of anchor chains, as well as the distinct styles of passenger and cargo vessels. It also provides glimpses into the various activities that took place on board, such as cooking, worship, laundry, rowing, poling, sightseeing, and leisurely breaks. On the magnificent Rainbow Bridge, which has long vanished, the scene is teeming with a diverse array of people, including merchants, guards, crew members, fishermen, and passersby. The lively streets are adorned with a multitude of shops, captivating signs, and bustling vendors. Among them are fortune tellers, storytellers, bicycle repairers, medicine vendors, doctors, barbers, business promoters, movers, sedan chair carriers, and even gamblers. The painting vividly portrays the diverse social fabric of the time, encompassing scholars, farmers, artisans, and merchants from all walks of life.
