No scores, no fuss. This is a pretty simple game where players just skate and don't have to worry about getting the high score or beating an opponent. The gameplay experience is unique and refreshing because of this.
There's a direction slider, as well as a pimp button. Players can combine them to gather speed and get in some hangtime. and while skating off the edge, players can also do some tricks. The fact that there is no score makes you free to experiment with doing these moves, so you can improve your repertoire.
The game also features plenty of maps, so you can really let your creativity flow. These vary from empty swimming pools to those ramps at the skatepark to some pretty ridiculous halfpipes. You can jump some bars or you can also jump some pool chairs, it's up to you. Unfortunately, not all the ramps are free, and you really have to play to unlock it.
Unfortunately, the camera is a bit tricky too, so things can get challenging because of the weird camera angles. And if you don't unlock the other ramps, it can be over pretty quick as you only have one ramp to do your tricks on over and over again.
But overall, this is a pretty relaxing game. Not having an opponent or a score to beat might turn off some very competitive players, but in the end, this is just a game to unwind, relax, and be free... just like real skateboarding.
