I have looked for this kind of game for a looooooong time now and everything I wanted is actually in this game.
Game play : DND Style fantasy RPG text-based adventure
Some choices have a success rate that will depend on the stats that your character has. Combat is determined through a dice roll (DND D20 style die). Not much action is available in combat, just watching your character and the enemy avatars fight. And because it's a text-based adventure, it has multiple endings available.
The pixel art makes the game look better than other text-based RPGs. Most of the time, other text-based RPGs have hand drawn photos or stock images that are black and white which makes is feel more of reading a book than actually playing a game. For this game tho, they used full color pixel art and the entire interface is in pixel art as well.
Music is repetitive but not boring. Combat music sfx is okay. It could be better if the music changes with the environment, hopefully the devs update it.
Buying stuff with real cash is suggested but doesn't hinder progress. And if ever the devs decide to add purchasable DLCs in the future, I think it's worth it.
There's a lot of pop culture references in game too :)
If you want a game to pick up and play whenever you're bored but don't want to compromise your phone storage, this is a great game and I have recommended this to my friends already ✨✨✨
