Seven Knights 2 is a new role-playing game that continues the epic saga of the original Seven Knights. In terms of gameplay, Seven Knights 2 may not appear difficult at first, but as the game progresses, you may have issues, even with the auto system. Even if the game has well-polished mechanics and is slightly free-to-play friendly. As the story progresses, the game becomes tougher, and autoplay may not be sufficient for higher material.
The game's aesthetics are undoubtedly one of the most compelling reasons to play it. With all of the fully voiced conversation lines and jaw-dropping animation sequences during combat, playing this game made me feel like I was playing a triple-A title. You'll not only engage in interaction with major people as you progress through the main storyline but you'll also be treated to a plethora of cutscenes that truly elevate the game to a cinematic experience.
Even more impressive to me is how all of the other seemingly minor features in the game contribute to the cinematic experience and keep you hooked. Switching party members in the menu, for example, results in a fun little back-and-forth between characters, so it's enjoyable to observe how they react to each other based on your team's lineup. I realize it's a minor detail, but for me, it's the little things that contribute to the charm of a game.
Overall, Seven Knights 2 is a fantastic work of art that stunned me with its cinematic quality. Each character is magnificent and has their own unique talents, which adds to the diversity of the cast. The gameplay execution, particularly during enemy encounters, is something I'm truly looking for in a hack and slash game.
