I agree with the sentiment that this game would've been better without this top-down view. Remember mobile gaming isn't stuck in 2012 where topdown view was forced based on hardware limitations. Heck even back then some mobile games didn't do this. I remember the infinity blade series on ios or Dead Trigger, both which didn't have a topdown view in 2012-2014! This iteration of Just Cause shows us Square Enix is disconnected from the direction mobile gaming is moving toward. We have literal console versions of games were ported to mobile and are being in development as we speak that don't sacrifice the core gameplay for mobile.
Gameplay:
No lag for me and it ran smooth. However, my device got hot after ~15 mins. Aiming can be difficult at times, for instance when aiming at the helicopter I didn't know where my shot was going to land (hard to see reticle). Minor bugs are presents my character sometimes glitches after using the grappling tool to move around. Gameplay is the typical thing, do campaign to collect resources, login daily for additional items, upgrade guns/ gear with items. Reminds me of Cyberika which came out earlier this year
