T3 Arena Guide #7: Chapter 5 Personal Development - Communication
Communication allows your team to share information, coordinate actions, and respond to threats together. You don't need to constantly talk—good communication is about providing the right information at the right time.
Callouts
Communicate important information such as enemy locations, flanks, low-health targets, and incoming threats.
Ping Usage
Use pings to quickly communicate information when voice chat isn't available or when a situation doesn't require a full callout.
Target Focus
Help your team focus the same target when possible. Concentrated damage is often more effective than everyone attacking different enemies.
Ultimate Coordination
Coordinate ultimates when possible and avoid wasting multiple powerful abilities on the same situation unnecessarily.
Objective Calls
Communicate when to push, defend, contest, or retreat from an objective.
Regrouping
Recognize when a fight is lost and communicate when your team should fall back and regroup rather than continuing to feed the enemy.
Positive Communication
Keep communication constructive. Avoid blaming or arguing with teammates, especially during a match. Useful information helps; frustration rarely does.
Information Prioritization
Not every piece of information needs to be communicated. Prioritize the information that can immediately affect your team's next decision.
