I’ve been deeply interested in Gangstar Mirage City and spent some time exploring it. Here’s some information about the game — what’s great, what lacks, what’s shit, and more.
The game lets you design your own character, or at least their face and skin color. You play primarily as a criminal, but some activities in the game aren’t very interesting yet are forced for progression, such as certain challenges or business tests. After reaching level 20, you gain access to your own Company, which works like a mini company-idle-tycoon system.
In the gameplay, you’ll notice there’s no single‑player mode, and sometimes the game forces you to interact with other players to progress. The map is massive and the designs are pretty appealing, but the downside is the repetitive NPC characters with very little variation. There’s also a limited variety of cars, and cars are basically the only available vehicles.
More good things:
- Deep vehicle customization and upgrades
- PvP combat systems
- Minimally interactive NPCs and environment
- Deep storyline with missions that require real effort
- Unique random NPC encounters
- High‑progression wanted‑level system
More bad things:
- Poor resource‑download optimization during active gameplay
- Hard to earn large amounts of money since ammo, supplies, and cars are expensive
- Lack of realistic vehicle controls
- Lack of advanced settings
- No positive or neutral interactions with individual NPCs
