MonStar is a pretty decent rogue-like game with a classic feel and a retro pixel art style. Controls are pretty simple, and the game itself is actually easy to understand. However, sometimes, I get confused where I am going though, but I guess that is just me as I was pretty drugged up with plenty meds at that time so me getting lost at that one area might just be because of that... not to mention pretty sick.
Collecting monsters is definitely the best part of the game. As for battles, it's pretty basic. Dodging and attacking are important. Nothing really fancy to be honest. Oh, and blowing up walls with bombs can also be pretty fun as well.
Overall, it's a pretty fun game. Collecting monsters, as well as exploring the dungeon, collecting items, and blowing up walls make this game great overall. Controls are also simple to understand. Recommended for beginners to these types of games.
