Mabinogi rivals Ragnarok in the depth of content for a mobile MMO, but surpasses it when you begin talking about realism. It is not in the visual aspects of the game, but in the amount of common tasks you can perform throughout the game.
You start the game by collecting an egg from a chicken. You then have to purchase pepper from a store. Once you have the materials, you cook an omelet. While you do spend some time chasing away foxes in the standard "blast a bunch until they are endangered" style of quest, the core mission is about making breakfast.
This game has come a long way in terms of being something that allows you to truly immerse yourself. It is common to find that even an optional auto play button frustrates some users because it is still staring back at you while disabled. To alleviate this annoyance, auto pathing is a setting. You choose an option early into the game and are not mocked by the auto button throughout the rest of the game. It is amazing what something so simple can do to make the game feel more interactive.
The classes are not locked and there are lots of ways to customize your character. While you cannot slide a bar to determine their waist size, you can pick from a lot more options than almost any game that uses selections. I did find it a bit awkward that you chose body type based on age, especially with some of the outfits. It is hard to say that loli character in an outfit that shows her underwear is actually 18 when you made her that size by selecting "14 years old."
Overall, this is a relaxing break from the usual MMO. I like to bash random monsters as much as the next person, but sometimes it is nice to just make a stew and have a laugh.
