Frankly, I always feel intimidated when I start a card game because you have a good amount of things to learn. It’s good that Magic: The Gathering Arena has a nice and clear tutorial as well as a friendly UI to help me get started.
So, for a person who didn’t really play the physical MTG, I think this mobile version is fun. It is a decent and competitive build-your-deck card game with stunning visuals. The downside is that it freezes and forces me to quit from time to time, and it seems that I’m not the only one getting this problem. Some people complain about the shuffling issues (getting too many lands), yes I'm also experiencing this. So the dev should probably consider fixing these problems.

Hundreds of original cards with beautiful artwork charmed me when I first entered the game. I could enhance the deck and create a unique experience in Research Lab mode. The game developers prepared well-designed brain-teasers in Puzzle mode to earn cards. I recommend completing these levels first so that I can get many cards. Countless cards can be customized with a variety of new strategies. I also like the control of the game that it's easy to play with one hand.
Of course this game has some cons in my opinion such as poor balance of different decks and the economic system is worse than before.

Before Hearthstone was released. Magic The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! were the most popular collectible card games. In my opinion, they are all excellent card games, but Magic the Gathering is too hard to learn and Yu-Gi-Oh is unbalanced. Hearthstone finds the perfect balance to make sure the game has enough tactical elements and not to make the game too hard to get started.
If you have never played Hearthstone and wonder why so many people like it. Some might tell you there are a lot of cards and tactics available in Hearthstone or Hearthstone releases new expansions frequently and always gives some new modes. But for me, it’s simple, several times, I only have 2 or 1 health. Only one card in my card pile that can save me. Then I turn on the music and pray for God's blessing. And It came true that I got the card I needed. That’s the charm of collectible card games.
If I must point out some flaws, there are not many Hearthstone new players now. As a new gamer, it's frustrating to compete with a group of old players.

If you want strong and popular decks, you need to buy packs and draw them. To cost much or less depends on how many core cards with UR or SR rarity are required. Also, Master Duel has lots of new cards, and they constantly update packs. If you keep playing, you'll have to collect more decks.
