I could see a lot players reviewed this game from many aspects which are great. To me, I played the second cbt before so my review will not straightly have words about the game itself.
What I can see that there are quite a lot players compare this game to Honkai Impact 3, and especially more serious in Chinese TapTap community. From the current situation, this comparison is almost inevitable - the similarity between the two is too much, ACG, 3D, action mobile games, Apocalypse. Even on a commercial level, Punishing should be regarded as a competing product of Honkai Impact 3 - the homogenization of game style determines the player group, and players who like this style will basically not playing these two at the same time so they could easily become competing relationship.
To me, I don't think it is necessary to compare the CBT version to a game that has released for 3 years, I found the game mechanism is so interesting because your attacks, skills and status are depending on the tile-matching system. I believe that this mechanism still has a lot of development space.
Final 4 stars to this game bc it still has a lot to improve, compared to last CBT.
