Good, but not really😈
As someone who is new to the series and never played a Diablo game before, it's pretty fascinating to have this similar gameplay experience from PC/Console on mobile now. I probably won't play it for too long, and if it's just casually slaying the monsters until I hit the actual pay-to-win wall, then it's totally fine with me. So hey, up to 10 hours of somewhat enjoyful free content sounds like not a bad deal at all. And on top of that I really liked the overall graphics and asthetics in this game.
But I do feel bad for some of the core fans of this series who will probably fall into the shady monetization scheme that Blizzard and Netease have meticulously set here. The corporate greed spoils almost everything that is so good about this game and that's a big a shame because Diablo Immortal has so much potential in it.
