I almost deleted this game the second I opened it because of this. ⬇️

But then I realized that maybe the dev did this on purpose because we actually got a female protagonist here. I also found an interview with the dev Christoph Minnameir on creating a female lead. It's interesting to read although I don't really like some of the interview questions.

Back to Dungeons of Dreadrock. The game itself is a nostalgic adventure game full of well-designed puzzles. I really like the voiceovers and the bold black font.

Do you remember

"Women are not allowed to touch a sword" doesn't need to have negative meaning. maybe his mean is "Fighting/going to war is man duty, woman don't have to have blood on their hands. they can help their side win by other ways". it's 2023, the devs team are not dumb enough to say thing like that just the get cancelled

I don't take this as something offensive, it's most likely to make the lore more believable, think that this game is probably set in a medieval time, when people were extremely stupid socially towards gender 💁
