Hi there, I'm the dev of this :)
Hi! I'm Christoph, the Dev of Dungeons of Dreadrock. I was recently invited to TapTap and I am very happy to join a community of mobile gamers that really care about the content. Thanks for having me.
I'm not a company and I'm not after the big money. My drive to create DoD was solely creative. I wanted to experiment and create an original, minimalist, non-repetitive and immersive experience that I wanted to be enjoyed by the biggest audience possible (which is clearly on mobile).
I'm still convinced that it was the right thing to do because > 200k on mobile have played the game and for me that's what this is about.
However, a lot of people have questioned my approach. I've received a fair bit of hate from PC gamers for my 'mobile game' and even professional journalists made it a point in their reviews that you can't just "sell a game on Nintendo Switch for 10$ that you offer on mobile for free" (even with ads).
As I said, I'm very happy with the way DoD was (and is) received, so I'm not mentioning this to rant. Much more, I want to stress that I'm really, really excited to find this community here on TapTap that cares for content on mobile and read so many posts and reviews for DoD. Thank you so much for your support! As someone who creates content to spread love, I really appreciate to get some love back! <3
PS: I'm really happy to read comments / reviews / feedback on the game, and I still try to answer to every review on Android/iOS/Steam (and now on TapTap I guess) but please bear with me if it takes a bit longer because I'm trying to step back from PR for the next few months to create... oh wait! That's still a secret. :)
