Hello Neighbor has been launched for more than 4 years. The game was just launched when Metacritric gave 38 points which is so low.
But after many years, the game has a very good review in Steam. The official also launched some extra expansion. The total number of downloads of the game series has exceeded 30 million. It seems that Hello seris has changed from an unpromising game to a well-known game series.
However, even if you have played the game, you may be affected by the very complex scenes in the game. There are also puzzle elements that don't quite understand what the content is trying to say. In fact, this seemingly horrible game hides a chilling story in the end. There are many places in it that are presented in a metaphorical way that would be difficult for players to understand the whole story if they don't go deep into it.
Hello Neighbor has four chapters in the game. The origin of this whole thing can be traced back to a family named Peterson which is a normal family with a father named Theodore Peterson or Mr. Peterson, who is the villain neighbor in the game and the Nicky Roth's worst nightmare. Petersons got two kids, a boy(Aaron) and girl(Mya) They live happily in Raven town, and the opposite of this family happens to be the hometown of the our charater: Nicky. Because the relationship between Peterson and his family is very good, So three of them, often play games together, especially role-playing games. Whenever they play games, they will imagine everything as the scene they want, such as a thief, a policeman, and then imagine the room as a scene of police and bandits. I believe everyone must have played like this when they were young, whether they were brothers, sisters or friends, right?
However, Peterson family has a habit of having lunch together at 12 noon and the alarm clock in the room will remind the children that it is time for lunch. Of course, the two brothers and sisters who are playing happily often play until they are unwilling to come out.
