Genshin Impact remains the Most Tweeted About Video Game globally, after claiming the title in 2021 and Q1 2022, according to a half-year report by Twitter Gaming. The second place is Wordle, unsurprisingly, and the Japanese mobile game Ensemble Stars ranks third.

Besides that, Twitter has seen a 36% increase in Tweets about gaming year-over-year. The tweets about this subject from January 1 to June 30 reached approximately 1.5 billion.
The growth was driven by the remarkable ongoing discussions around Elden Ring, esports leagues including the Call of Duty League, VALORANT Champions Tour and Professional Gamers League Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and global events like the Xbox Showcase, Playstation’s State of Play and Summer Game Fest.
