What the Chess update patch should look like
Hoplite is roguelike strategy board game that should have Chess's update patch (if it had any). If you're new to this type of genre, it basically has the fundamentals of Chess, but it offers more movement to traverse through the board to get to the next level.
It may seem intimidating but, Hoplite does not have the same learning curve of Chess. However, it still has the enough difficulty for beginners to learn and for enthusiast to enjoy.
This game will not get boring because the game's AI play against you with varying difficulty in each Depth (Level). The enemy placement and the character's kit will continue to evolve the deeper you progress to the dungeon. I can see myself playing Hoplite in my commute or me time. This game has every rights to be worth checking out and play.
