Biweekly Progress

Hi guys, is me again! I'm bringing the latest progress on Project EVO.

Core gameplay

1️⃣ Airdrops updates: now there are less airdrops, better loots, and it takes longer to open.

2️⃣ Civilization Ruins updates：we added some public facilities and highlighted them in different ruins.

3️⃣ Auto turrets are nerfed, they are suppposed to be defensive facilities, not offensive ones. Now, after the turrets are moved, it will take several seconds to activate them.

4️⃣ We are still polishing and balancing weapons.

5️⃣ We balanced the speed of opening and closing garage doors, now they are slower.

6️⃣ We changed the benefits of owning Embers, and will test the new mechanism in the near future.

7️⃣ We added achievement system.

8️⃣ We are exploring the way to procedurally generate the map. So we will learn the map features first and there might be a new map in the next test if we can make it.

9️⃣ Other updates in progress include new building blocks, new NPCs and new fafacilitiescilities etc.

Art

1️⃣ We upupdateddated a bunch of visual effects. Here is a big one: Embers in the Port Tackson.

2️⃣ We polished the texture in Port Tackson.

3️⃣ We are still polishing the general environment in the Emberland.

4️⃣ General UI update work in progress.

Tech Issue

Well, we managed to rent a Xiaomi POCO, there was a guy crashed 95 times in Alpha but still kept playing EVO. We show you our respect and got your device model to solve the problem lol.
