RELEASE OF LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: WILD RIFT
League of Legends Wild Rift is the mobile version of LOL from PC. Wild Rift was officially announced on October 15 2019 celebrating the 10th anniversary of the release of LOL from PC. It was globally released on date October 27 2020.
WR promised to offer us a new MOBA Mobile experience with more competitiveness and something really important: a Free to Play game.
THE BATTLE BETWEEN MOBAS
Before the release of Wild Rift, there were really famous "copies" from the original game, like Arena of Valor (AoV) or Mobile Legends (ML). The players who played these games can agree that they were highly inspired by League from PC, in fact, Mobile Legends got sued multiple times by Riot for plagiarism. This fact made players from different communities to have a Love-Hate relationship towards Mobile Legends.
GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE
Playing Wild Rift is like playing the original version but fast paced and noob friendly.
-The Control Layout is really easy to use. There is a thing called "kiting" in League that consists in attacking while moving ur champion and in WR it is much easier do it than in the PC version.
-There are different soundtracks with different in-game events, like Icons 2022 and Star Guardians.
-Last but not least, the graphics. There are multiple graphics settings that we can change depending on our device's performance. Riot has also improved the character models from LOL PC to the Mobile version, they are cleaner and polished.
CONCLUSION
Wild Rift is an excellent game for players who want competitiveness and a fair gameplay. It is not time consuming, friendly to new players, easy to play and visually and aurally stunning.
