Better than Arkknights by a million billion heads

The game, surprisingly (after all, initially you think that this is another soulless fake, immediately hanging this label due to the fact that it is extremely difficult to find something worthwhile in our time), as if it moves you into a movie that is so familiar and close to you that you begin to be related to the characters literally from the first inserts with diplomas. Especially colorful here are the characters whose motivation and becoming themselves cause such an ambiguous reaction that you begin to think not only about the plot, but about the people themselves in life, because each of us has gone a long way to becoming ourselves. Each of us saw and fought inside with himself under the sky of the world. Each of them fell into sins and got out on a sunny day of courtesy. Each of us is a bit of a creator, and a bit of a sinner..
What's great about the game:
— Prescribed characters, interactions with which can be fully revealed through an additional new interrogation mechanics, where they pour out their soul to you like in a psychologist's office, almost killing you along the way because of their motives, which you have to find out;
— The art of the characters is my homage, it's just aesthetics for the eyes, as if they massage me with the most pleasant fantasies;
— The style of the game itself also delivers, you don't get tired, but on the contrary, you get more and more imbued with time;
— Voice acting perfectly conveys the spirit of everyone;
— For the first time I met a plot from this category of games, from which I do not want to skip it in the first second, as it was in Arknight, where there are tons of text, and emotions and meaning with the disclosure of characters are almost zero – on the contrary, every replica is part of the work and leads to something, revealing either a character, or a plot piece by piece, bringing its own speck into the full picture.
What's terrible:
— There is not enough energy for development, you literally may not have enough energy to complete quests, because you spend all your energy on obtaining resources.
In general, the game turned out to be unique, interesting, as if it was not a game at all, but a full-fledged book in which you can fulfill your role.
Sometimes when passing through you wonder if those are the sinners who went through hell just to survive in this world..
In addition, I will leave a couple of character screenshots and some moments from the passage.

Not sure how your comment with only 20+ like surfaced compared to other ones with more amount of likes, but anyway, I agree & disagree with you at the same time. Let's analyse the two games, their gameplay type, models and genre first. Path To Nowhere is a Tower Defense RPG as well as Arknights. However, PTN is more diverse having better graphics and has more difficult challenges than that of AK with average gameplay. AK 3D gameplay character models are chibi while in contrast the gameplay 3D models of characters retained the original life size of characters stating consistent to their 2D model art. But overall, I'm no fan of tower defense RPG but I will admit that PTN made me play the game due to it standing out different in its genre. Furthermore, what fascinated me the most about PTN is the appealing character design and a lot of them being "mature" hinting that it's definitely an RPG intended for the adult audience such as myself. On the other hand, AK 3D models are all chibi not staying to consistent to 2D model of life. What's worse is that most of AK characters are loli meaning it's an RPG intended for the younger audience group which is of course a turn off for me personally. Then again, at the end of the day, if we compare the two based on the events and generous giveaways by developers, AK takes the cake easy on this one which is a vital factor for me. I wouldn't spend my money in an online game where the devs just want your money instead of helping the product's user base prosper naturally through hard work & play with satisfied heart. And yeah, the gacha rates in PTN isn't very good, at least not as good as that in AK ~

Maybe it's because my review is not for sale, not trying to please everyone by putting candy in their mouth, drowning out attention to the product, or perhaps the sun and luck are on my side today. Well, I don’t look for gacha in games, I either play for the sake of the plot and enjoy the game itself, or I don’t play a gacha game at all, because a gacha without a soul behind itself does not make sense (this would be a pure casino). Thank you for your attention 🩵

I got the operators I wanted, but as I mentioned earlier, the story of only one of the five was not bad, and the visual without an interesting story is empty.

To be honest, I would love the art style from AK. For the story and character interaction, PtN really nale it (I skipped all AK's stories because so much text). For the gameplay, AK is still the best in my opinion. PtN great in most of the thing, but the system really kind of boring.

As for the system, yes, at the beginning there are problems with repetition, but since this is a new creation, the masters need to fill their hands, which they did, gradually introducing something new. But yes, the system is lame in this regard, I agree, I want more diversity in level design. The scenes themselves have become much more beautiful, what is the addition with the city and signs worth, which is now like a side quest, but it’s not enough just a practical point, something like a unique mechanism on the map.

Eh, in the long run, and this is just my guess, AK will continue to thrive but PtN will fail. If you ask why then I'd say it's because PtN is too simple. Where AK has a long list of classes that can interplay with one another creating a massive amount of different strategic gameplay styles and ways to clear, PtN is mostly a stat stick game where-in the best Damage dealers/Breakers will always be the top units. The Raids exemplify this by giving you a score based on how quickly you clear the raid. While I still play PtN I don't feel like I'll be playing it for years to come like I have with AK.

Your words make sense, I understand what you mean, but there are already several options for the future: either the creators will think over the game for different classes, create a more even class atmosphere, or everything will really be monotonous, because of which it will be possible to run through everything for one character. I can already say now that the classes are starting to work out, but at the highest levels (up to 40+ you can quite play without a healer, a defender, but after they are necessary and you won’t pass the level). I believe in the team of creators, they really work hard on the project.

Well, Arknights is now 2 years old? (i think) and PTN is 2 weeks old (just shy of it) its as of right now incomparable since the games have such a huge gap between it. Each game is on its own level as of every aspect of the games. HOWEVER, for me personally story in PTN shot Arknights down like it was cake. Otherwise overall, i think it would be a more 50-50 between both games. (lore and background in PTN outweigh Arknights by a long shot) Arknights however is a heavily inspired take on Original TD and PTN is more of a Hybrid. I dont think to "one up" Arknights you could ever do anything but Original TD, and pull it off so incredibly well. I do respect your opinion because Im won over aswell combat wise due to Arknights getting rather boring for me. Character Design both really depend on personal taste since PTN is more adult like and Arknights is more anime like, in reality both are animations but different roles. So I mean rating a game and comparing it to another just asks for trouble since alot of people DONT UNDERSTAND that everyone has different likes and dislikes. I mean not everyone wants to hear brutally honest opinions and some like to hear lies. Try to keep in mind this whole not understanding part next time. Might also help having "personal" something when comparing. Have a wonderful day and God Bless ^^

I only said about Arknights because when I played Arknights, I dreamed that some other game would come out and show the real quality of the story, how you can express different feelings – she came out and I was so happy that I wanted to notice it. Yes, there is a personal opinion in everything, everyone looks from their own bell tower, but if a person loves (objectively) something not very good, which only spoils him from the inside, then I will tell him about it. Arknights does not harm people from the inside in any way in the plot, but the plot itself, to put it mildly, is fanfiction, which I want to explain to people. If they admit it and they like it, then there is no problem at all, this is their own business, but if they are trying to say that this fanfic of a five-year-old girl is a masterpiece, then no. Thanks for the words and good luck to you too 💜

I personally dont like ptn gameplay, feel like it is too simple, chars can be put on the field before the battle, after that u just switching them around , and have plenty of chance to do that, around 25 time i think? compare to this ak system is more complex, especially end game.

Lol, as if in Arknights you can put your Persians anywhere, only here the essence of the strategy is not with the expectation of the return of your character (rollback after he leaves the field), but and the movement limit, which is why in difficult battles you have to find the optimal position at which you would no longer need to move them, otherwise death. It's a song about the same thing, it's just that Arknights focuses on different strategic behavior. On the other hand, in terms of the battlefield, Arknights really wins, as it has more ideas about additions and circumstances. But in this regard, there is no point in comparing yet, the game is new and it has yet to find its own ways and ideas in the battlefield (precisely in terms of the battlefield itself, all sorts of traps there, additional cells with opportunities and all that). Arknights is better on the battlefield at the moment, but loses in plot, character depth and meaning innumerable times, so I'm ready to forgive Path to Nowhere although they will leave the battlefield in the same state, since the game is already valuable as a work of art.

did u play ak by yourself, or copy strat on internet? bc if u play by urself, then it is not only auto, boring stuff, there are lots of stage u need to solve, and it is not easy to do so. also i dont think u can promote to 2 at ur lvl. that require lots of grind. so I dont think u unlock end game content yet, let alone all the stories. sum up, I think u are bias here. at least give full information about how much u played each game bf review, compare them.

Read the comments below and you will see the answers to what you touch. But I’ll say it again, I played (so that I have a lot of medals and every scene was completed with the highest score) and in the plot I also went beyond the first chapter. I only rate games based on experience and personal opinion.

Do you improve characters? Just a couple of materials for a character can easily take all the stamina, and there are 6-7 main characters
