Starting from 2004, the International Mobile Gaming Awards (as known as IMGA) is the longest standing international competition for mobile games. It is an annual festival, honoring outstanding, innovative and excellent games made for mobile devices.
Each year, the Awards will receive approximately 1000 submissions. Usually, after a 2-day judging process by international jury’s experts, which took place in Helsinki, Finland this year, 60 nominees will be chosen. The competition is undoubtedly intense.

► Excellence in Innovation: What the Golf? by Triband
83583
What the Golf is an absurd, goofy and hilarious golf parody made for people who hate golf. The gameplay is simple: pullback, aim and release. This anti-golf game is physics-based, where every golf course is a new surprising type of golf; the golf can be anything, a ball, a horse, or yourself.
For those who like to spot references in games, it got these! The Flappy bird, Mario Games...they are waiting for you to discover.

Call of Duty Mobile is definitely a hit this year. On TapTap, more than 3,153,630 players had installed this game and it received an excellent rating of 8.5 out of 10.
It features thrilling battle royale, a multiplayer mode  (5v5 combat), fan-favorite maps from Call of Duty history, and iconic characters for you to choose from. If you are a FPS lover, you don’t want to miss this!

► Jury Honourable Mention: Sayonara Wild Hearts by Simogo
176006
As a big fan of Simogo, a Swedish developer who creates the stunning Year Walk and Device 6, I am quite excited about Sayonara Wild Hearts.
It is a dreamy arcade rhythm game about riding motorcycles, skateboarding, dance battling, shooting lasers, wielding swords, and breaking hearts at 200 mph. The plot is based on the major arcana of the tarot.
The original soundtrack in this game is EVERYTHING, which is inspired by famous artists like Sia, Chvrches and Carly Rae Jepsen. It also also incorporates portions of Debussy's "Clair de lune".
►  Grand Prix: Sky: Children of The Light by thatgamecompany
82226
Sky is an indie adventure game. In this game, players explores a magical kingdom using a flying cape. There are seven unique realms to visit, and each one is themed around a different stage of life.
Game media praised it highly. IGN commented, "a bigger and bolder follow-up that expands on what made Journey so great." Metacritic awarded it as best iOS game of 2019.
