Speed on a new level

Ace Racer is a new high speed racing game with a addicting game formula. As of writing this, the game had came out two weeks ago. As a avid competitive gamer, I’ve spent a decent amount of time in the past two weeks earning as many 1st place wins as possible.

The game has different modes to choose from, but the main modes are practice races and ranked races. Each one can be played in teams or solo (I personally play solo). In a team race, each person plays to reach the top place. For example, two people will play for first place, two will play for second place, and two for third place. Out of those three, if you win you earn your team a flag. The team with more flags win the race. In a solo match it’s everyone for themselves. If you’re in the top three to finish the race first, you win.

Other modes include a time attack mode, where you compete with others to get the quicks lap times. In license mode, you complete challenges to get a new license. Transformation is a mode where you race, but unlike the other modes, your car changes at certain points of the race.

Due to my competitive atmosphere, I have dedicated the majority of my time to the ranked mode, where I use my lower leveled cars in practice.

Graphics in the game are really well done. Though I don’t use it as much, the “live” camera angle is a really intense first person view angle that adds to the excitement.

In general, Ace Racers is a really well done game.
