May the fourth be with you - 5 tips for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Translate
Yes, it's that time of year again. The day when Star Wars fans from around the globe gather and nerd out over all things Star Wars. Recently, my man Ian had a few things to say on Jedi: Survivor, but in honor of May fourth, I want to double down and impart my Jedi wisdom and give you five helpful tips for Jedi: Survivor.
#1 Utilize the Skill Tree
Obviously, the skill tree is your best friend when upgrading Cal Kestis, but with so many choices, where does one start? I suggest investing in health upgrades early on! That means investing in those survival skills in the resilience tree. I also recommend spending some points on the point-blank shot once you unlock the blaster skill tree. With it, you can parry almost any attack, including some unlockables.
#2 Grab those collectibles
There are a ton of collectibles in Jedi: Survivor that you can take to shops to be traded for different secret cosmetics and outfits. The thing is, there are a few items other than cosmetics (hint, hint, lightsabers) that will make your playthrough much easier. Take advantage of these!
#3 Get used to all the stances
It's easy to fall into the trap of playing with one or two stances and trekking through the game. But you'll have an easier time if you're competent with every stance. Some bosses and enemies are much easier to defeat if you use stances like cross-guard and so on! So, make sure you branch out, young padawan.
#4 Perks are your friend
Once you unlock perks, you can equip several that complement or alter your gameplay. It's fun to mix and match, and ultimately, there are twenty-five to choose from, but I highly recommend spending the first data disks you collect on the wisdom perk. With it, you can get more XP from defeating enemies. It'll be invaluable in your play, especially early on. Get it as soon as you can!
#5 Pick off the weak ones first
This doesn't just apply to Jedi: Survivor but to most action-adventure games. Pick off the easier enemies first! When faced with multiple combatants, such as B1 droids, and Purge troopers go after those B1 droids first!. It may not seem like it, but those blaster shots add up. Act accordingly.
And there you have it. A little bit of wisdom on May fourth to guide your way. May the force be with you and always remember...
