I love these indie card games. Besides, who cares if they're similar to Slay the Spire? Many board games have borrowed from original concepts. Additionally, I haven't seen any complaints when people create "souls-like" games, so why shouldn't try these？

Try playing Indies' Lies. It has permadeath, but anytime you feel you can't win a particular battle, you can always restart that battle (tho the starting drawn cards stay the same)
