One Piece: Ambition is a 3D action RPG made by Mo Fang Studio (under Tencent) and Bandai Namco. If you love One Piece, this game feels like a dream. You can fight with your favorite characters, use their special moves, and relive big moments from the anime.

But is it actually fun? Well, it depends. The combat is amazing, but the game has some problems too.

[OVER VIEW]

When I first started playing, the game felt smooth. Attacks have weight, and using combos feels satisfying. There’s a mix of fast action and strategy—you have to dodge, block, and time your moves well.

Fighting in PVP mode is exciting but sometimes unfair. Some characters feel way stronger than others, so if you don’t have a top-tier fighter, you might struggle.

Outside of battles, the game lets you explore some One Piece locations, but don’t expect full open-world freedom. It’s mostly about fighting.

[GAMEPLAY & COMBAT]

The combat is the best part. Each character has unique skills, and you can even call for support characters to help in fights. There’s a Sky Island Pearl system that lets you use special skills.

The game has:
✅ PVP battles (1v1 fights against real players)
✅ Story mode (replay anime fights)
✅ Co-op fights (team up with others)

But here’s the problem… unlocking characters is hard. The game uses a gacha system, meaning you need luck (or money) to get strong fighters. If you’re unlucky, you might not get your favorite character.

[GRAPHICS & SOUND]

The graphics are top-notch. Characters look just like the anime, and their moves have awesome effects. Attacks like Luffy’s Red Hawk or Zoro’s sword slashes feel powerful. The environments are bright and colorful, bringing the One Piece world to life.

The sound is pretty good too. The background music fits the battles, and major characters have voice lines. But since the game is only in Chinese, it might be hard to follow the story.

[STORY & CHARACTER]

The game follows the One Piece story across 13 chapters. You’ll go from East Blue to the Grand Line, meeting famous characters like Luffy, Zoro, and Nami.

The cutscenes are well-made, but since there’s no English version, it’s hard to understand if you don’t know Chinese.
