ALTER EGO

I absolutely love the book list on it, as a BSD fan and a classic literature fanatic,  I love recognizing the books and authors. The art style is so beautiful, I want to eat it. I also like how it has tons of endings! I'm definitely doing fanart!

Interesting story, great soundtrack, and cool artstyle. I liked trying to get all the endings. I also like those therapy sessions with Es. My only issue is clicking the bubbles is tedious and sometimes I feel like it doesn't do much. I also wish there were more things to do because you just upgrade books, tap bubbles, and talk to Es to progress the story.

Do you know everything about yourself? This game helps you discover your true self while acting as a barrier for someone's sanity. Will you let her run wild and take control over everything, will you imprison her, or will you be able to keep the balance between the bad and the worse? Gameplay wise, there's not a lot. It's definitely a grindy idle game but the goals/achievements can speed up the progression, or watching ads if you're impatient but I recommend going at the regular pace instead of trying to "speedrun" it. Check back once in a while and progress the story, good things are better if you don't rush them.

This game is an excellent portrayal of how humans are very brittle and unstable. The mere words by someone else that can be deemed insignificant, can be the catalyst of one's breakdown. In this game, the girl who shall not be named is strawmanning Ego for her problems as she sees control as a hindrance rather than a safeguard. Both the girl who shall not be named and Ego are in the wrong. Too much control is imprisonment, to less is anarchy. The player in this story is the middleman, creating peace between two sides, a compromise perse. It also is a deep dive into who you are. Some things I knew, but I didn’t want to think about. This game told me the problems I have in the most blunt way possible. Kudos to this game for handling something like this tastefully. It shows how a person such as you, can be broken with too much or too little self control. In conclusion, 10/10. (🤓)

The story is quite nice but since it's a clicker it takes a bit of time to see it fully. Even then its not THAT much time either so if you like personality test and clicker games then this might suit you. Gameplay is straight forward and can get tedious. I sort of wish they would add a "Say goodbye" option tho. It would just feel right for this type of game. Personal opinion, dont take it seriously.

If you live in the United States, you’ve probably taken a personality test at some point in your life. They’re pretty common, and whether it’s for work, business, or pleasure, it seems that everyone wants to get to know “the real you,” or at the very least make sure you’re not the type that’s going to freak out at a customer taking too long to decide whether they want the medium or large fries. I love these things! Not only for the insights they give, but because if done correctly, you can learn your strengths, weaknesses, and suitable career paths.
