[b]▣ Elements and Archons
[/b]The Archons bestow some of their elemental power to mortals in the form of Visions. Visions are glass pendant orbs which allow the wielders to focus their mental energy so that they can use the elemental powers of the Archon that blessed them. Once given this power, the wielders are called "Allogenes".
There are seven powers that exist to discover in Teyvat, each with their respective Archons and their own region/city that worships said Archon.

[/b]The characters tend to be attached to the corresponding elements when being exposed, and some elements may trigger certain effects when attached to the characters.
1. When the character is exposed to certain elements like "Cryo(Frost)", "Electro(Lightning)", "Pyro(Fire)", and "Hydro(Water)", the corresponding element will attach to her/him for a period of time. "Cryo" will reduce movement speed, "Hydro" will create a moisture effect and the character will be attacked by charged objects.
2. Some elements like "Anemo"(Wind), "Dendro"(Nature), and "Geo"(Earth) behave slightly different from the above-mentioned ones. None of the three will stay on the character even after the attack. "Geo" attaches to the character due to some special skill, and "Dendro" also will attach to the character (but no effect) out of some monsters' special attacks.
▣ [b]Status Effects

Simply coming in contact with elements will cause the character, enemy, or object to be afflicted with an elemental status effect. Some of these element effects cause a debuff.

• Cryo Reduces the target's movement speed.
• Electro
Afflicting bodies of water with Electro will spread the affix to nearby targets in the water and will usually cause the Electro-Charged elemental reaction since they are already Wet.
• Geo
Causes the "Crystallization" effect, which will cause the affected target to deal with reduced elemental damage (expect Geo damage). It also absorbs some of the target's elemental energy and drops a crystal that can give a character an elemental shield if they touch the crystal.
The shield will absorb all types of damage until it runs out of health, but it protects against the shield's element more effectively than other types of damage.
• Hydro
Causes to target to become Wet, used for elemental reactions.
• Pyro
Causes small burning DoT (~3 damage per sec).
▣ Domain Elements [i][u]
* Enemy exclusive special effects[/u][/i]
Within Spiral Abyss and certain Abyssal Domains, monsters or objects may have an aura that causes a harmful effect upon characters in its AoE.
The effect can be momentarily dispelled by intentionally causing elemental reactions to the character. Abilities like Barbara's "Let the Show Begin" and Xingqiu's "Guhua Sword" - Fatal Rainscreen can apply the Hydro effect on the character. The aura will only affect the characters currently on the field.
• Condensed Ice(Cryo) Increases your character's Stamina consumption.
[b]• Devouring Lightning(Electro)
[/b]Reduces your character's element energy used for Elemental Burst talents.
[b]• Slowing Water(Hydro)
[/b]Increases your character's skill CD durations.
[b]• Smoldering Flames(Pyro)
[/b]Causes a Pyro DoT on the character. It is much stronger than the normal Pyro DoT effect.
