Ayaka here! If there is one question that plagues players every time they enter a game, it is “Which weapon is best for me?” Don’t worry, this tutorial episode will talk about guns, and you can also check out the tutorial wiki page here: https://www.taptap.io/puzzle/27

If you are confused with regards to the choices, remember to take notes, m’kay?

To many players, it should be easier to handle assault rifles compared to shotguns and sniper rifles. What are the specific damage and statistics of all the different assault rifles? I have taken the effort to compile stats of each assault rifle’s damage based on their individual bullet damage:

Assault rifles generally use 5.56mm or 7.62mm rounds. The 5.56mm assault rifles we can pick up in the game are QBZ, M416, M16A4, SCAR_L, and the 7.62mm ones we can pick up are AK-12 and AKM. There are also two air-dropped models, the AUG and Groza.

After much experience on the battlefield, my personal preference is the Groza, followed by the M416, then the QBZ, and followed by the M16A4, SCAR_L, and AK-12. I don’t really use the AUG purely because I personally like rapid-firing guns.

The AKM is special. If I couldn’t find a gun that suited me and needed to engage enemies at close range, I’d use the AKM. Even at long range, switching to single fire lets me hit targets with relative accuracy. That said, this gun kicks hard, and even veteran players may find it difficult to control it at mid-to long ranges.

The M416 must be equipped with a buttstock. If there are none available, I personally recommend that newbies choose the QBZ. It is easy to pick-up-and-play, and the recoil is not high even without complete accessories.

Even though the M16A4 is easy to find, it is not suitable for newbies. It is a three-shot gun and requires a high click-per-second to do serious damage at all. You may not find this to your liking, but those who master this weapon can achieve legendary results.

Finally, if you can find a Groza, use it.

Sniper rifles are designed for long-range attacks, and the satisfaction of hitting a target from an enormous distance is indescribable. So, how huge is the difference in damage between the three common single-shot sniper weapons?The AWM has the highest damage and is able to use all kinds of scopes, but it is extremely rare, which makes it a dream weapon for most Sausages! If you have the opportunity to lay your hands on this weapon, you must savor the experience. Remember! Even with full life and a helmet below Level 4, a sniper rifle shot to the head is an instant kill!

Marksman rifles bridge the gap between assault rifles and sniper rifles, and all sniper rifle and assault rifle accessories can be used on them. There are 5 marksman rifles in the game, so how should Islanders choose?Mini14: This gun can fire continuously and is suitable to use with lower-magnification scopes.

SKS: The gun has a higher recoil, so during continuous fire, it can kick heavily, but many masters of recoil control will be able to wield it decently.

SLR: Its power is a little higher than SKS, but its recoil is relatively moderate. Choosing it or not largely depends on personal preference.

VSS: Its advantage is that it comes with a scope, but because of its low damage, Ayaka generally uses it as a toy gun.

*MK14: Currently, the only way to obtain the MK14 is through an airdrop. This gun can be equipped with rifle and sniper rifle accessories, and it boasts both high accuracy and firepower. Using Advanced Extended Magazines can counter its small 10-round magazine. It is currently the strongest marksman rifle.

Submachine guns have high firing rates, low recoil, and high close-quarter damage. It is particularly friendly to new players and is also a common weapon in general.Submachine guns are usually used during heavy shootouts where suppressive fire is advantageous. Even though the UZI has a fast firing rate, its damage is too low. Considering both their fire rate and my experience wielding them, I recommend using the UMP9 and P90.

If you prefer to aim while following the target, you can choose the Kriss Vector. This gun has the potential to be extremely effective, but it might not be for everyone because of its low fault tolerance in operation. If you prefer precision with your SMG, this is your gun.

Shotguns, also known as scatterguns, are great weapons for close-quarters combat.

Both the S686 and S1897 are classic shotguns, and their damage are essentially the same. They can one-shot almost anyone in close-quarter combat.

The S12K has decent damage and fast reload speed, and it is my favorite weapon among shotguns.

KSG is also a shotgun with unique characteristics, and it is the friendliest among all shotguns to new players. I highly recommend it for newbies!

Machine guns’ large-capacity magazines and suppressive fire are suitable for team battles, or for sweeping across a bush, depriving concealed enemies of counterattacking.

The DP-28 is a weapon with one of the highest damage among the machine guns, but it has the smallest magazine capacity and a high ballistic drop. The M249 has the same large-capacity magazine as the Gatling Gun, but a common problem it faces is its slow reload speed and tendency for its aim to sway. You can make your choice according to your combat experience and preference.<Pistol>

In later stages, pistols become less useful. They are mostly for players who are unable to acquire heavier firepower in the early stage and just need something to fight back with, and are almost always replaced with more suitable weapons later on.Detailed stats for pistols are listed above. Personally, I like the P18C, but like with other weapon categories, the choice is deeply personal.
