Written by cheddar
You might have not watched Squid Game (like me), but you definitely have heard about it.
Squid Game is the most discussed Netflix thriller show right now. It takes place in a dystopian world where 456 people are gathered together to play some children’s games for a chance to win 45.6 million KRW, which is equal to $38,460,271.20 USD.
You know things can’t be that simple when there is a large sum of money is involved - those kids' games are fatal. If you lose, you are dead.
The games in Squid Game, like “Red Light, Green Light”, are inspired by traditional childhood game in South Korea.
We recently found a game called Squid Game 3D that allows you to experience these deadly games on mobile.

Getting Started: Flipping Ddakji
If you have watched the popular Korean variety show Running Man, you might be familiar with this game.
You and your opponent each take a Ddakji piece. One puts the Ddakji piece on the ground, while the other throwing his/her piece to the ground - if you successfully flip your opponent's piece, you win.

Round 1: Red Light, Green Light[/b]
A giant doll turns her back to the group and sings a song. You goal is to run to the finishing line when she sings. Beware, freeze when that doll turns around, or you will get shot.
Fun fact: you can actually find this creepy giant doll IRL - she resides in Jincheon County, which is 2-3 hours away from Seoul.

Round 2: Ppopgi[/b]
Ppopgi is an old-fashioned honeycomb candy. There is a certain shape, like a star, carved on each candy, and you will need to cut the shape around the candy, avoiding breaking it.

Round 3: Tug of War[/b]
Players are splited into two teams and each holds the opposite side of a rope. The goal is to overpower the other team and pull the rope to your side.
Round 4: Marbles
In the original Netflix show, players form a team of two and each are given 10 marbles, and whoever obtain 20 marbles wins.
There are no rules; you can play it as you like. For example, throw the marbles to the pit.

Round 5: Glass Bridge[/b]
In this round, players have to hop on a row of glass panels: some are fragile and some are thick. So, be careful with your choice.
Final Round: Squid Game
Players are gathered on a squid-like field and are divided into two teams - one defender and one attacker.
Here is the rule, as explained by Squid Game director Hwang Dong-Hyuk.
"Once the game starts, the defense can run around on two feet within bounds, while the offense outside the line is only allowed to hop on one foot.”
"But if an attacker cuts through the waist of the squid outpacing the defense, he or she is given the freedom to walk freely on two feet."
"After preparing for the final battle, the attackers gather at the entrance of the squid.
"In order to win, the attackers must tap the small closed-off space on the squid's head with their foot. If the defender pushes you out of the squid's line, you die.”
Players around the world are re-creating Squid Game in games like Minecraft and Roblox.
