[Dev Blog #1] Lil’ ol Torchlight, but infinite!
Hey Everyone,
Kuan here from XD Inc., and I am beyond excited to share a first look into our upcoming Hack & Slash ARPG, Torchlight: Infinite.
Everyone on the game’s development team, including myself, are all passionate fans of ARPGs and we indulged in games like Diablo, Torchlight II, and Path of Exile. While I loved freely exploring vast dungeons, engaging in action-packed combat, and collecting exciting new loot; what drew me to ARPGs the most was the deep strategic gameplay as well as the immersive character progression.
We designed Infinite to encapsulate and elevate all the great things we loved about ARPGs which is also why we named the game “Infinite,” we will be creating new stories in the Torchlight universe with a high degree of freedom when it comes to character building and dungeon exploration. We can’t wait to see what kind of crazy builds everyone will come up with!
Our goal with this game is to empower everyone’s desire for creativity. We’ll be releasing numerous heroes, each with their own unique traits, customization talents, and countless combination of skills. You’ll also have a variety legendary gear to choose from alongside an infinite amount of randomly-generated loot. Whether you want to dominate with powerful synergies or just create something unique and different, Torchlight: Infinite is the place to do it.
Try wielding devastating weapons as a powerful warrior or casting overwhelming magic as an explosive archmage. Infinite possibilities await!
