They weren't wery friendly, bacause their aim was to take all the universe under their control, and they was scared that your travel can make some difficulties for them, and they decided to attack you and stop your travel. But your folk's life depends on your research, so you can't just stop. Now your not very easy travel has turned to be much more diffucult because of the enemies, that want to kill you. So now you must study each place, jumping between portals, and only then you will be able to come into your ship, because your big scientific research will be done! Good luck!
