Crafted by the talented game developer Kyle Barrett, "Ultra Blade" is a captivating horde survival RPG that beckons players into a realm where single-handedly facing successive waves of relentless adversaries is the key to triumph. As is characteristic of Barrett's gaming creations, "Ultra Blade" entrusts the player with the command of a singular character, thrusting them into the throes of battle against a constant onslaught of foes. Despite its seemingly straightforward premise and controls, "Ultra Blade" conceals a nuanced layer of complexity that entices players to revisit the game repeatedly. The dynamic interplay of strategy and skill required to navigate the relentless waves adds an intriguing depth to the gaming experience, ensuring that boredom remains at bay. This perfect fusion of simplicity and complexity compels players to repeatedly immerse themselves in the thrilling world of "Ultra Blade" as they uncover new tactics and refine their abilities with each playthrough.

It's a survival game where you have to defeat waves of enemies. It has a very good pixel art dark atmosphere. You get random upgrades after defeating some enemies possibly helping you defeating more enemies or survive longer. The gameplay loop is great and you can unlock other characters who have different weapons. The only issue with it are the controls; you drag your finger to move but the issue is that while you move you attack that limits your area of action in not a fun way. You can also tap for a heavy attack but you do this in the direction you are facing but remember you attack while you move so you may end up wifing the attack or get hit while doing the heavy were otherwise you wouldn't get hit. If you stay still you auto attack but again in the direction you are facing.
