Blade of God II: Orisols The Sacrifice

Welcome to the hellish sanctuary of Blade of God II: Orisols! Currently to be released by PG Soul Games, this title right out of the gate is a 5/5 rating from me. While some people might disagree with this, I do however think there are some slight adjustments to be made which I am sure will be addressed in the game's future. Some players might be just starting out with the test and asking themselves, what is this game? Blade of God II is like a story-based Dark Souls, but with more dialogue being put into the mix so that characters can understand the plot more quickly than by figuring it out for themselves.
When players start the game, they will be given a choice of three starting character  with each them having their own skill sets to beat future bosses. This does however limit being able to play each class with both male and female genders, but this game kind of makes it so that each character only suits their own storyline rather than being flexible on what happens. This is something that could be improved, but, I am fully in support of how it is currently being implemented.
Blade of God II is mainly focused around hardcore bosses that impact the main sanctuary upon being Sacrificed or being given a chance at Redemption. Each of these choices have their own separate leaderboards as well, with the top players earning thousands of points in either category. This is where pretty much most of your game time will be at, since some of the bosses are going to be a nightmare to kill on your own. This game is not meant to be for the faint of heart or players that are not able to improve as they go through the story in its entirety.
Whilst being one of my favorite parts of the test so far, the game does need slight optimizations for mid tier phones to run the game on a high fps or graphic level. I personally enjoy the boss fights since they offer a challenge, and also present the chance to be killed if you make too many mistakes during the fight. Players will need to think about their next move or risk losing everything.
With players seeing how hard the boss battles are, it does not come as a surprise that players will need to know how to make their own skill combos. Featuring a fully customizable skill customization and upgrade system, it is important to know what works and what doesn't. This gives players a lot of freedom to mix skills as they please instead of being limited to only certain movesets, allowing for crazy sequences to be made with some of them maybe even being broken.
Customization aside, this aspect does have another negative that comes along with it. This negative part being an appropriate tutorial. This may be subject to change in the future, but as it currently stands, many players will be completely at a loss for what to do or which types of skills work well together when going up against bosses in-general. I do not approve of the lack of a separate tutorial for skills that properly help the player learn in-depth tips that they can use.
Blade of God II also features a gacha system inside of the game, with no evident clue of whether this directly affects gameplay or not. With that said, it is very easy to get SSR heroes on only your first draw with a new account, which can then be placed on specific skills to enhance their ability. This creates a whole new dynamic to customizing your skillset since certain heroes may become meta for specific skills that your character is capable of.
This gacha system isn't really different from others, but does featute custom art and icons which is a very nice touch. Overall the gacha gets a 4/5 from me towards the game's appeal, but doesn't really change my opinion much on the current build.
One thing that Blade of God II does well, is giving players a very amazing lobby for when they just want to relax before going on a mission. It serves to give players a space which fits the overall theme of the game and the situation that the plot takes place in. Players can also find the Shop, where to draw SSR heroes, and travel to other locations inside of the game. There really isn't a shortage of things to do as of yet, but may need more content for later on in the story.
I really like the overall theme that they provide to players, and the sanctuary of sorts also serves a plot purpose later on. When players choose Sacrifice or give boss characters a chance at Redemption the game automatically puts souls into the sanctuary personally colored depending on the player's choices throughout the game. Meaning that you can end up having a lot of red souls for sacrificing, or white souls for mainly giving bosses a chance at redemption.
It is very clear to me that Blade of God II has the potential to be a mobile sensation, but does have its own clear drawbacks. This is however a test version, so we will see what changes in the future towards what players prefer to see.
