Life Makeover Global is in another closed beta, and I had the pleasure of playing it once more. I have actually played the Chinese version of this game too, and have made a couple videos on the China version. But this is my first Global coverage on the game.

I'm happy to finally talk about the global version and actually understand the story while playing. Gameplay wise, this game is very similar to games like Shining Nikki, if you know that game, then you know that there is a lot of story content and also plenty of fashion dress ups.

In Life Makeover you progress through the main story, which is all voice acted, and also the character models are all Live 2D animated, which I think is a very nice touch. When you do the dress up part of the game, the game gives you pointers on what your dress up tags should be, like sexy, warm and homey for example.

If you don't have any of the available clothing options in your wardrobe, you can go to the store and search the tags there as well, and buy clothing that will help with getting you a perfect score. There is a clothing gacha in this game, and if I were you, I'd save your gems for a clothing set you definitely are interested in.

Another cool thing I like about this game is the housing system. You actually buy a house and can decorate it as well. You can also roam around inside your home and use the furniture as well. Visually I think this game is absolutely stunning. Considering this was made by Archosaur Games, I have a very high standard for their graphics and how the character creator works.

And they do not disappoint. The clothing is super detailed and very good looking, and the character model for your character can be designed in super high detail and it's just truly breathtaking. Overall I'd say that Life Makeover is in a really good place right now.

The gameplay seems very clean and I only noticed a few issues with translations, but for the most part I'd say the game is pretty much ready to release. I hope that the game comes out soon because I'm very excited for it. If you love fashion games, and are currently loving Shining Nikki, then I think you should definitely give this game a go when it comes out. I think you will be very pleased with what Archosaur Games has done with this game.
